Fort Lauderdale Hotels

Everything is pretty close in Ft. Lauderdale so a cab ride isn't much more than $10 - $15. Have you thought of trying priceline for a hotel? Read these web sites first, www.biddingfortravel.com and www.biddingforfun.com it will explain how priceline works.

I bid 3* downtown Ft. Lauderdale for $75 and won the Marriott Hotel and Marina and am very happy. Stayed here last year compliments of priceline, its a great hotel and the water taxi picks you up right at the hotel.

Just be aware, once your bid is accepted you cannot change, cancel or put your reservation in anyone else's name also your charge card is charged immediately. You cannot choose your hotel, its whatever hotel accepts your bid. Its a gamble, but you save lots of $$ if you choose to do it.

Hope this helps.

The Comfort Inn Airport/Cruiseport is a nice hotel that provides an airport and cruiseport shuttle. There is a shopping center within walking distance. If you decide to stay there make sure your reserve your space on the shuttle to the port when you check in.
