Help needed with St. Petersburg ship excursions

CLEMM

Recommended Posts

For anyone who may have cruised on Celebrity, some of the excursions are 9 hours long. Will these excursions be available on day 2 in St. Petersburg? I am trying to do some advance planning, but I'm not sure how much time will be allocated for excursions with the ship leaving at 6PM. If anyone has been on Celebrity for this crusie I would sure appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

For the record, not all of the shorex are offered both days, and particularly not the 9 hour ones. Because of trains running through the port on no schedule at all, the buses will get you back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

But I agree with the previous poster, touring with a small private tour group is the way to go. You will waste so much less time just waiting for people. Also, private tour groups go to the head of the line, can get special early entrance tickets and many of the guides know alternate routes through the buildings.

Check your roll call to see if there is any space on a tour that has already been arranged.

Have a great cruise!
