lfdianne Posted August 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2008 My family of 6 (dh, myself, sons 13 and 16 and daughters 10 and 18) is going to book a Baltic cruise next summer on the Emerald. We will do a mini suite for 2 and an inside for 4 directly across the hall on the Dolphin deck. We are also trying to convince my dad and his family to join us (4 total), but they have not yet commited. They would also book 2 cabins. If they do join us, we'd like to have their 2 sons share the cabin with our 2 sons and move my daughters to another inside (yes, we know about having an adult in the cabin). We are thinking of booking directly with Princess, and not using a TA. Is there problem with changing the names of passengers in a cabin after booking? Thanks so much for any input. Pam in CA Posted August 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2008 There's no problem changing names... BUT... one passenger in the cabin cannot be changed without cancelling and re-booking and then you run the risk of losing the cabin you want. In other words, if there are 4 in cabin A and 2 in cabin B, up to 3 can be changed from cabin A and 1 from cabin B. One passenger must stay in cabin A and one in cabin B. Up until final payment, there is no charge to change names on bookings. This is for booking purposes only. What you do once you're onboard is another discussion. :)
lfdianne Posted August 6, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Pam, Thanks for the info. I read your profile and we are South OC neighbors. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask you some questions since you have cruised so much, and we, um, haven't. My email is diannesilver at cox dot net Thank you. If you went straight down Alicia and turned onto Aliso Creek Road, there I'd be. :) Anything I can do to help.
