Docking in St Thomas

We are on the FOS in Oct. Which dock does RCI use in St. Thomas? The West Indian Company Dock or the Crown Bay Dock?

I think they use both.

 

But the FOS usually docks at WICD.

 

For August the only RCI ship for CB I could find is the Grandeur.

On all of our cruises they have docked at Havensight, the West Indian Company dock.

Jewel docked at Crown this past January. I had never been there in all my cruises. I was totally confused when we were going into port. I prefer Havensight.

I thought that Crown Bay was a Carnival subsidized operation. That is news to me. Was any construction work going on at the WICO dock that would have caused the Jewel to dock at Crown Bay?

RCCL ships tend to use Havensight, but occasionally they end up at Crown Bay or tendering into downtown Charlotte Amalie.

FOS always docks at WICO. Carnival has a preferential berthing agreement at Crown Bay as Royal Caribbean does with WICO.

No construction that I was aware of. Just lots of ships in port that day.
