Check out www.lagomar.com A beautiful hotel right on the beach. A short walk down the beach to the channel the ships leave port from. Two great pools, one regular, one a lagoon pool, marvelous for kids. A soda shop with sandwiches, burgers and fries, a pool/bar restaurant outside, and fine dining inside. Regular hotel rooms, plus one and two bedroom/kitchen units. The service is wonderful. Its quiet here, no walking to shops, you need a car for that, but we never wanted to leave the property anyway.

Lago Mar is a great choice for families. SHL forgot to mention the miniature golf course, life size chess set, ping pong tables and organized activity schedule for the kids. Nicest hotel in town.
