Most people will know "gratin" or other commonly used cooking terms, but some of them are tricky. What a neat website! And then of course there are the menus in English that are no less confusing than any foreign language could be: "A sprightly tangle of lovingly gathered field greens, tossed cheekily in hand-pressed kumquat oil and a teasing spritz of Waikikiean pineapple essence" and all that nonsense.
