lizaj1 Posted August 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Does anyone have experience with minisuites on the Dolphin Deck on CB? I was told that the balconies are larger and comparable to the Caribe deck. Can anyone verify? Thanks!

NeurosurgeryNP Posted August 11, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2008 The balconies are very good for sunbathing, though. We had a Dolphin mini in January and we loved the balcony. We did not feel like people were watching us, in fact, when we were out on the balcony, we rarely saw or head others on their balconies. Just don't go out wearing skimpy clothing. We felt that there was ample space in the cabin area.

The balconies on the Dolphin deck (mini suites) are 9X7 (if memory serves me right).
holand Posted August 12, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2008 I was in D110...there is no balcony directly above that cabin. I didn't mind that it was uncovered. Loved it! And loved it so much that I booked the same cabin for next year.
lizaj1 Posted August 13, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Thanks for the info. I really don't care if the balconies are covered. This is not a place where clothing is optional as far as I'm concerned. I'm just interested in space. Also, we have cruised on GP and we never had a problem with privacy on the balcony. We will be traveling with friends in adjoining cabins. I understand that the partition between the balconies can be removed, so we are looking forward to one big balcony. Thanks again! Colo Cruiser Posted August 13, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2008 You asked how the minis are and you received answers. For alot of people having an exposed balcony is a big deal especially if they found out once onboard. :)

FYI: only the the first 1/3 or half of the partition can be open as long as it is not between a firewall.
