jwitt2 Posted August 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2008 We are considering the short cruise from NYC next year which includes the fireworks display in Boston on July 4. I did some searching on here but couldn't find a quick answer as to which side of the ship would have better viewing of the fireworks, or if it really matters or not. I did see something about being on the aft deck. Billet or PunkiC, maybe you can help; see that you just took this year's sailing. Also if anyone has recommendations as to balcony cabins; I did print out a nice summary by someone though. We are trying to decide between the sheltered or glass. Sounded like sheltered would be better.
billet Posted August 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2008 The best view by far was from the stern of the ship since we were departing as the fireworks commenced. There were also smaller displays all over Boston from about 8:30 onwards. We had a starboard side cabin (4211) and when the fireworks started my mother had a great view from the balcony.
