Noticed yesterday that Azamara has now available some military discounts on some trips.

We saved $200 per person. Might be worth checking , if you qualify.

Actually, I found it on another travel agent's site.

Don't know if it is on the Azamara site or not--I was going to look and got pulled away. Before I got back to look, my TA had called with the confirmation.

Do you know if you can call and get the discount if you have already payed and booked your cruise?

We are booked on the same cruise as you, Dec. 3rd Barcelona to Miami.

If you booked your own, and the offer is still available, you should be able to get it by callind Azamara.

 

If you booked through a travel agent, you would have to go thru him/her.

 

Been out of town without a computer for a week, so have no idea if deal is still available.

Is the Military discount combine-able with other discounts? For instance, could a person get a senior discount AND the military discount?

May be worth a call to Az.

I really don't know the answers for sure. I booked with a TA, and got free air and a OBC. When I saw the military discount, I called the TA and queried.

She checked, and got us the discount.

On the other hand, when I tried to get shareholders OBC, was informed that this was a WOW booking, and I couldn't get it. Go figure!

 

If your voyage does have a military discount, it is certainly worth making a telephone call. The worst that can happen is that you get turned down.

We started a Military Cruisers board under Friends of CC. Check it out and add to it. The more action we get on the Board, the more likely cruise lines will pay attention to us - Strength in Numbers!!!
