Anyone stayed at the Commodore in Galveston?

Not sure if you've tried yet, but you may have more luck on the Gulf Coast Departures board. There is a lot of information on Galveston hotels there. Good luck!!

We have stayed at the Commodore numerous times, it's a great little hotel. You'll enjoy it.

as has mentioned, the other thread will have even more information. Are you looking for a motel or a hotel? I don't think there are many actual motels in Galveston...

We are staying at the Beachcomber Inn in Galveston...At the time, it was the only motel that was under about $180 a night that was available and offered free cruise parking. It looks like it is about a $20 taxi ride with tip to the cruise port. We got our rate of $93 a night from Galveston.com.
