jajohnson Posted August 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2008 We just booked B755 on the Emerald on the 28 day Transatlantic in 2009 and were wondering if we should flag it as do not upgrade because it is a great cabin? Is the balcony as large as Caribe BB balconies or is it smaller? Thanks.
LuvTheGoodLife Posted August 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2008 B755 - balcony slightly larger than Caribe balconies located on side of ship ( 10.5 x 10 ft instead of 9 x 9) but B755 is fully covered and overlooks only the water where side facing Caribe balconies overlook Dolphin Deck balconies. I am not sure if B755 is one of the aft facing balconies on Baja deck that has an obstruction through the balcony in the form of an 18" wide steel column (called a 'beam' by many here on the boards). Not sure if the search feature is working but a search of B755 should bring up threads which reference the presence of the 'beam' obstruction. LuvTheGoodLife Posted August 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Ok - skip the search. Here is a thread link with pictures. I think this Will help! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=808951 NO beam/column obstruction on B755. Enjoy!
