Destiny Wine Bar/Martini Bar question.

On the Destiny deck plans I see a Wine Bar but no Martini bar like most of the other ships.

Does the wine bar also double as the martini bar or is there only wine available there?

Is the Onyx room cigar bar also a good place to get a martini?

Thank you in advance!!

It's been several years since we sailed the Destiny now, but martinis were served regularly at the Destiny Bar outside the casino on the Promenade Deck. One night, they had a martini special with an ice sculpture that they poured the martinis through to ice them. That was fun!

The bartender at the wine bar also makes martinis. The woman who was there in March made yummy ones.

I didn't go into the Onyx lounge at all. But the bartender probably can do them as well.

Cool!!!

I wasn't sure if it was a wine only bar, and it is located where other ships have their martini bars.

Thank you!

My favorite Martini on a Carnival Cruise is the Violetta. When we were on the Destiny in May I had mine (ok 2 or 3) every night at the Destiny Bar right outside the casino. There is a married couple on the ship that both work at the Destiny Bar. And trust me-they both know how to make a fine Violetta.

I make the Violetta at home sometimes but somehow it just is not the same.

The wine and martini bar are the same bar on the Destiny, Triumph, Victory and all Conquest class ships. They only serve wine and martinis and don't have beer or soft drinks.

Excellent...I thought that was the case, but when I saw the name "Wine Bar" on the deck plans I figured I would make sure rather than assume!!
