Grand Suite Question - EOS

Recommended Posts

icon_cool.gif Am tring to get clarification on exactly what benefits we are entitled to with our upgrade - besides the wonderful room that we are SOOOOOO thrilled about. We will be forever ruined, I am sure.

I have seen conflicting posts about use of the concierge, delivery of special snacks, and use of the concierge lounge for complimentary drinks prior to dinner....Anyone have experience on the Explorer to help me out??

I haven´t been on the EOS and will have my first GS on my upcoming cruise, but with the booking of a GS you will have access to the concierge lounge / concierge service. This includes complimentary drinks during special times of the day. If you are a C&A Member you get also another credit for booking a GS.

Can´t tell you about the snacks delieverd to your room as I just heard about. The perks I listed above you should definitely have as they are listed on RCCL website.

We just returned from Radiance and had a GS. Perks included bath robes, upgraded bath products, and the Concierge Lounge. The lounge is open 24 hours and you can get coffee and tea any time. There is also continental breakfast from 7:00-9:30 AM and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres starting at 5 PM.

There were no snacks delivered to our cabin. We have only had that happen on ships that do not have Concierge Service.

I called RCCL and was told that with the GS there are no perks except priority embarkation. What gives? I'm happy as I can be with the room - not sure why I am getting conflicting reports?

Anyone have experience on the Explorer that can shed some light??
