Does anyone know if the 2 main restaurants are open for lunch on embarcation day or only the buffet line.

Not sure about the two main restaurants, but the BIG THING is the barbecue by the main pool, that coincides with the big sail away party. They have ribs, chicken and steak. The ribs are good but the chicken and steak are kind of mediocre. Hope that helps!

Mike: According to the copy of the recent Daily...you can have lunch on embarkation day at Aqua and the Market Cafe, along with the BBQ poolside.

I just returned from the Oct.12 sailing of the Star.

 

Here are the lunch options:

 

noon-2:30 pm continuous lunch Aqua Restaurant

 

noon-3:30 pm international vegetable table Market Cafe

 

noon-3:30 pm luncheon buffet Market Cafe

 

noon-5 pm grilled favorites (closed during boat drill 3:15 onwards) The Grill

 

after boat drill-close Sailaway BBQ (weather permitting) Oasis Pool
