How obstructed is the view from the Deck 8 staterooms? thks

You may have a life boat hanging in front of part of your window... there is also a ledge protruding below ...

However, you can still see the sea out your window.

Deck 8 cabins nearer the bow can be a bit noisy. (loud music)

Unless you get lucky, plan on looking directly out into a lifeboat. Below it, and above deck seven you can see some water. You also get to see what the weather's like and have outside light come into your cabin.

Thanks, I thought the Life Boats were the problem but wasn't sure.

There are certain cabins NOT obstructed on deck 8..............they are 8532,8534,8536,8538,8032,8034,8036 and 8038....

Thanks again for every ones advice. We decided last nite after watching the Travel Channel on cruising we couldn't wait until our Mariner October cruise and since I am retiring the 29th of April a short cruise would be just the right medicine needed to transition into retirement and would carry us over until October, sooooo I had our TA book us on the Sovereign for the 3 May cruise icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
