Ruby Princess Lido 107 PS

We have never sailed in the cabin you have booked, but we always book on the Lido deck. Last year, we sailed the Emerald and had a cabin on the Lido deck. First of all, let me say that we just LOVE being on the same deck as the pool. Great location! Close to the pool, grill, buffet and MUTS. It's especially nice on sea days when you are laying around the pool. It's nice not to have to deal with long halls for forgotten items in your cabin, or just a bathroom break.

As for this specific cabin, I remember last year being out on the secret deck far forward during a port sailaway. We were speaking to the couple in L106 and asked them how they like their cabin. They stated that the cabin was very roomy, but the balcony had a tendency to be a bit windy, especially on open waters. I would figure that as much. Being pretty far forward. As for movement, they felt that there wasn't any more movement than being in an aft cabin. Although, we had fairly good seas for our entire cruise.

So, hope this info helps. Maybe someone who actually stayed in one of these cabins may have additional insight.

We have L106 booked for our cruise on the 29th November 08 ...having done a bit of digging around it seems that the main issue is the Wind while the ship is at sea! ....but you have the Lido deck if it gets too windy.

wild briar My wife and I always get a lido deck balcony cabin when we cruise and the only problem I see with the cabin you have is privacy.Anyone on the secret deck forward is above you and can see in the cabin. The windows are tinted but still lots of traffic while in ports.
