D509 is a mid-ships mini-suite; cabins all around, so should be quiet. Near central staircase/elevators, so easy access to rest of the ship. You will have great views from the balcony, just be advised that it is not covered. Some people don't like this, most people don't really care. For Alaska, you will have awsome views of the wildlife and nature.
