dress code/POA

I'm confused about cruising on POA. Are women allowed to wear upscale pants outfits at night in the fancier dining area? I saw a thread that indicated that women had to wear dresses or skirts.

NCL and NCLA both ask for resort casual attire in dining rooms for dinner. No requirement for dresses or skirts. I'm not sure what "upscale" means in the context of pants outfits, but pants and a top will do. Those choosing to dress in a more fancy manner may choose to do so, but resort casual is what NCL and NCLA require. They ask that shorts not be worn in dining rooms at dinner, but some reports say it isn't rigorously enforced.

Enjoy your vacation. Don't worry about your attire.
