What to do on your own in St Lucia?

Once you leave the ship/dock, what can one expect? If you do not have a tour planned and want to go at it on your own, what are the options?

What does St Lucia have?

Many people book tours with a provider named Cosol who has received very positive reviews on this forum. Another tour operater named Herod seems to be equally praised. We will be in port on November 19 on the Serenade of the Seas and hope to go with him (Herod) on his "land and sea" tour. It follows the general itinerary used by most guides on the island, but instead of returning by the long and winding road, the tour returns by boat to the port. You also get to see things on the way back. He needs ten people to operate the tour. We are the first two to sign up. Consider it!:) Here is a link to one of his web pages. http://www.herodsislandtours.com/land_sea_safari_tour.html His website is a work in progress, however. You have to email or call him directly to book.
