Only 3 port stops on a 7 night eastern carib cruise. Why?

swimmom: what ship is that and what sail dates?

It's the Valor starting next April (or maybe late March). We're booked for September '09 with an aft wrap because of the sea days. We're also fortunate that we haven't booked air yet.

We haven't made a decision as to what we'll do. But, for right now, it looks like Valor will probably be off the list. Checking to see what else is available on Carnival and other lines.

I would love to do the eastern since it's been years but we really don't like the two days at sea on the way home. I would prefer to stagger the sea days but we can't have our way all the time!

I wish the eastern would pick up another stop since Puerto Rico is basically a couple of hours (at night) for most itineraries. I know some cruisers love the sea days but we just don't like two days in a row. Also, almost two sea days at the beginning as well.

Maybe with St. Croix back on the map, that will be an option.
