There are not many optionals but would like opinions on the excursion to Rothenberg? Is there a lot of uphill walking? Is it a shopping excursion?

 

Has anyone done the optionals in Vienna (Palace - Concert) on their own? Was the ship docked close to public transit?

What cruise are you on? We are on the Amacello, flying to Prague on Sept 9-10 with 3 nights Prague, then onto the Amacello in Nurmberg on Sept. 13.

In Vienna the ship is docked at the outskirts of town, however it is within easy walking distance of a subway to the historic part of town.
