Viking Grand European Cruise-October 19

My wife and I are taking our first cruise of any kind from October 19 - November 2, Budapest to Amsterdam. Any suggestions and tips welcomed. We have been reviewing the archives and have found some good info already.

we do the same cruise next june on viking pried; go luck finding others on your cruise;so far we have found no one for ours. there is a lot of info. around. we wish you a great time!

do you plan to spend time in amsterdam?

We're doing two days in Budapest before the cruise and one day in Amsterdam afterwards. At the suggestion of one of the members here, we decided to do the all day Dutch country tour in Amsterdam. Then we'll head to our hotel near the airport for a flight out the next morning.

 

We're taking a chance at renting a flat/apartment for our two days in Budapest. Time will tell if that's a good decision or not.
