kiraryker Posted August 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Does anyone have that picture of the guy with the whole suitcase filled with cases of beer? I think it is soo funny and wanted to show my hubby - he is always teasing me that I over pack.

airmanship Posted August 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2008 WOW! He didn't pack very well. I could have thrown in a bottle of Gin , 3 bottles of tonic, a frozen Margarita machine already filled with tequilla and a dozen limes for the beer, gin and margaritas!!! :p :p :p
Rockportgirl Posted August 25, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Actually I think it a bit sad. The poor guy looks flushed and three sheets in the wind in that picture. Well, he IS on vacation, and he doesn't have to worry about driving anywhere...
Cruisin' Ron VA Posted August 25, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Well, he IS on vacation, and he doesn't have to worry about driving anywhere... Driving isn't the only problem drunk people can have. ;)

Rockportgirl Posted August 25, 2008 #10 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Driving isn't the only problem drunk people can have. ;) Very true. I just thought the comment was uncalled for. Maybe he was sunburned and tired...?
izzyvet Posted August 25, 2008 #11 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Hmm, that's not beer. Don't know why anyone would bother carrying on "flavored fermented rice (or corn) beverage" Doesn't even taste like beer. Oh well, each to his own I guess. kiraryker Posted August 25, 2008 Author #13 Share Posted August 25, 2008 I agree - he looks sunburnt to me - and in my opinion - nothing wrong with cutting loose once and awhile especially on vacation as long as your not too loud and obnoxious and he looks old enough to drink legally.:D:D
sheri18 Posted August 25, 2008 #14 Share Posted August 25, 2008 that was not nice of you....you dont know that....this is supposed to be a fun board for all of us to share...not be critized over.....
Cruisin' Ron VA Posted August 25, 2008 #15 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Ok you all have your opinion and have mine. I am sorry. Forgive me. He is totally sun burned and has no intention of drinking any of that stuff in the suit case. Personally I think it sucks that I have to deal with people on a cruise who can't control their booze intake and end up causing fights, jumping over board, and yelling in my ear during karaoke. But thats just me. If someone doesn't want their business on the internet then don't put it out there. I just said he looked flushed and three sheets in the wind. I cant say for sure if he was drunk no more than anyone can say he was sun burned. Nobody's opinion is any more important or correct than anyone elses. I had an opinion and I shared it. Yours may be different and thats ok. :D Now relax and have as many drinks as it takes to calm down.

BND Posted August 25, 2008 #18 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Why waste all that space with Bud Light (or Bud of any kind)?
xntric1 Posted August 25, 2008 #19 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Why waste all that space with Bud Light (or Bud of any kind)? I think he was hoping it would be confiscated, as to have a good excuse to have to buy beer on board. Real beer, full of flavor, not that tasteless stuff he brought on board. CWcruisers Posted August 26, 2008 #21 Share Posted August 26, 2008 America does not know how to make beer. I am leaving in 3 weeks for Oktoberfest. Now that is beer!
nolaAlive Posted August 26, 2008 #22 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Heck, you can buy beer at every McDonald's in Germany. My kind of fast food.
CWcruisers Posted August 26, 2008 #23 Share Posted August 26, 2008 I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip nolaAlive. Of course, I really hope I don't resort to eating at Mickey D's. I don't even eat there at home.
nolaAlive Posted August 26, 2008 #24 Share Posted August 26, 2008 When returning to my hotel from Hofbrauhaus in Munich, I couldn't help but stop for the facilities and to refill my HB stein for the remainder of the walk. ;)
nolaAlive Posted August 26, 2008 #25 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Whoa, I saw something about McDonald's may not be serving beer anymore (perhaps they meant any less). Well, they certainly did years ago....
