Rome Pre-Trip Tours through HAL

I am planning to book a HAL transatlantic cruise departing from Rome and would like to stay one night pre-cruise in Rome to see the sights. Should I book this through HAL? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I agree, and will add that we prefer to book our own hotels. IMO we get better choices for less $$. I can't believe what HAL charges for hotels, much more than if you paid directly yourself. We stayed at Hotel Alimandi directly across from the Vatican, and LOVED it. Others may disagree and say to go through HAL, this is just my opinion.
