Wine shop near port in San Diego?

We are cruising Holland America out of San Diego in December. They will let us bring as much wine on board as we like :D. However, we will be flying in the night before from Portland Oregon... so... any recommendations on where we could buy a mixed case of decent wine near the port on a Friday night?

Ralph's Supermarket by Horton Plaza probably has a decent selection of reasonably priced wines and would likely give 10% of on a case.

BevMo is in Mission Valley and has some really great deals.

A couple of wine stores in the Gaslamp (probably more money) would be

the Wine Bank and the Tango Wine Company.

Good luck!

Other good sources are the Cost Plus World Market in the Gaslamp (very close to the Convention Center stop on the Trolley) and Trader Joe's, but the latter is west of the airport, not east as the pier is.

Where are you staying??
