Customer Service--"Military NOT Combinable" with any other promotion

I think my problem...is that they are very stingy with any promotions when cruising out of New York --it is a "captive market"....

One thing is certain, you are much better off booking your cruise with a travel agent rather than a Carnival agent. They will NOT notify you if the price drops and WILL not give upgrades. A travel agent will do these things and more. Carnival agents could care less about you. This from personal experience. Some of my family are Platinum members and have never gotten an upgrade. So much for loyalty.

We have always used my Mil rate and have ALWAYS been upgraded later. Doesn't matter what the rulebook says. Or am I telling a story?
