What happened to the passenger on the Holiday that just returned this week? I'm told the ship waited for one man to board before leaving port 15 minutes late. He was escorted by Mexican police and handed over to crewman.

Not true that I am aware of.

In Progreso, we actually left before the 4pm departure.

 

We arrived at Cozumel an hour early at 8am and departure was changed from 5pm to 7pm. They were doing maintenance to the engine that took longer than expected and we did not leave until 8:30pm.

 

We were late leaving port by 1.5 hours. So the time in your story does not match what actually occurred. That is not to say someone may have been escorted but that happens a good bit in Cozumel due to people drinking too much.

Is true about the man being walked on by Mexican police (we watched from the deck). As for leaving late, all of Dave's times are correct. Never heard anything else about the man....my guess....he got a little rowdy;)
