Price Drops and Category Upgrades

We booked during the "You Cruise, We'll Drive" event (I think that was the name ). We booked a BD, with an upgrade to BA. So, when I'm checking for price drops, do I look at the BD prices, or the BA prices?

So far, the sailing has only increased in price, but I want to be ready for a drop if it happens. I know that I can call my PCC and ask, but I'd like to know which category they're looking at.

One more question- on ncl.com, the only categories of balcony showing availability are BC and BA- does this mean the the other categories are sold out?

Thanks in advance for helping- I can't wait for January!

You'll want to look at the cabin you're berthed in (BA). You may get a lower price for a balcony, but you really should compare apples to apples.

From what I was told by NCL, yes, if the category is no longer listed on the website then the cabins have been sold out. With that said, I have also ran into numerous problems when accessing NCL.com; it is down a lot. I would call NCL and verify with a representative or call your TA.

Our CC Group cruise has also benefited by receiving one price drop and the cabin OBC's offered in the last NCL promotion! I also agree that the OP needs to look for future drops based on the BA cabin rates.;) It always pays off to check the rates and promo's frequently as they do seem to come and go quicly at times!
