Beach near Dania Sleep Inn?

I think I read on the board there is a sidewalk that runs for about 1 mile to the beach from this hotel. Can anyone confirm this? Any first hand walkers? Would this be called Dania beach or Hollywood beach?

I'll confirm it. It's an easy 1.5 mile walk to Hollywood Beach. A safe walk, day or night.

That's my only regret about staying at the Sleep Inn. We didn't walk to the beach, I don't know why, but we should have.

 

I would suggest it because theres nothing else to do in or around the hotel, except sit around at the pool all day or nap like we did.
