Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tapas restaurant in Old San Juan? Thanks.

Here are some ideas ...

 

* Baru - 150 Calle San Sabastian

* Cana - in El Convento Hotel courtyard

* El Picoteo - in El Convento Hotel courtyard

 

Baru is a "tapas only" restaurant. We were really impressed with the food and service.

 

Really, you can go to any restaurant and just get appetizers.

Thanks for the recommendations. Generally, appetizers tend to be more carbs than proteins, that's why I prefer tapas.

I'd suggest going to Raices, awesome food and great atmosphere. Is located in recinto sur, just two or three blocks away from the touristic information kiosk.

the spanish restaurant BOTIN is a good choice, during the evening they have flamenco dancing shows, there are other restaurants that are good for Tapas as well all around the historic district like El Picoteo at the Convento hotel
