Pride of America

We are considering taking our three teenagers (ages 17, 17, and 14 - yes love those blended families with 2 17yo) on the pride of America through Hawaii in August 2009. DH and I have sailed NCL prior on the Pride of Aloha (before we got married) but not with teenagers. Is there plenty to occupied two boys and a teenage girl on this ship when not on the islands? Any recommendations of cabin locations? Are balcony cabins worth it or should we just go with inside cabins? Unfortunately we cannot put all three kids in one cabin as my stepdaughter's mother would not take kindly to that plus I am not sure I feel comfortable putting a 17 year old boy with a 17 year old girl.

We are basically considering the ship as a floating hotel so that the kids get to enjoy all the islands which is what DH and I did on the Aloha.

Any info would be great.
