San Jose from Puntarenas

We will be in Puntarenas in December on the Coral Princess. This is our second trip there. Last time, we went on a Tarcoles River tour. We are not interested in ziplining. Usually we go off on our own but, for this port, we are thinking about taking the ship's tour to San Jose. Has anyone taken the Princess tour to San Jose? :)

Since no one else has jumped in.....

 

We (my wife and I) spend a fair amount of time in Costa Rica. It is a lovely country which much to see but San Jose ain't part of the "much." I'd suggest volcanoes, cloud forest (my favorite), bird and butterfly sanctuaries or some combination of the above.
