Hiring a taxi?

I read where someone else hired a taxi to see the sites on Bonaire that they were interested in seeing. We are thinking this might be good for us too. We would like to see the Donkey Santuary, the Flamingos, the pink beach and then shop around town. Would this be terribly expensive to do?

There may be a taxi calculator on http://www.infobonaire.com As I recall it's hard to find, but there. The fares generally aren't too bad, about $15. airport to one of the northern resorts our last trip, and the guy didn't charge extra to stop at a grocery store. The charge was for the taxi, not per person.

Thanks for the information, I found the rates on the website. It looks like it is $25 per hour for an island tour. Sounds great to us! Thanks again!:)
