Airfare to Rome

I've been checking (daily) airfares from Buffalo, NY to Rome and see today that the US Air fare went from $1500 down to $979 (for next August). Although this looks great, I'm holding out for a really special deal where I get get it for about $700 :) I may be making a huge mistake but I have a lot of time so I'll gamble on this one!

We booked airfare on Sidestep for $823 per person - going SavannahGA to JFK and on to Rome via Heathrow. Return same
way. We did not book with cruise as we wanted to stop longer
in Rome on way over. You might try sidestep - they were the
cheapest we found...we are sailing on Liberty 9/6/05.
Happy Sails to You.
