just returned from another ( windier ) trip to FP

We have sampled the brand new Four Seasons Bora Bora and did our farewell stay at the hotel Bora Bora.

Hello...

 

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the new Four Seasons. It looks pretty amazing.

 

However, I'm really so sorry about the Hotel Bora Bora closing for "remodeling". I know it was a little "worn", but I thought it was perfect with it's imperfections. We were there recently and saw the plans for the remodel and it's just not going to be the same when Aman Resorts gets through with it. We'll go back...for the location and because many of the staff members will be back...but I really don't care about a marble bathroom and a flat screen TV when I'm in Tahiti.....

 

I'm glad that you got a chance to enjoy a stay there one more time...

we stopped for the same reason to enjoy the original place before the closure.

We have seen too the plans and ideas (some so great to take care of teh coral garden among others). The project is in good hands.

 

I have placed a new label in my suitcase: " if found, please forward tjo the new Hotel Bora Bora by spring of 2011".

 

We will miss for the moment Livio's pasta, the smiles and ia orana from all the crew and the Manta Rays ( also called Manta lays by the Yamashiro family
