Isle sur Sorgue

Has anyone gone to Isle sur Sorgue from the port of Marseilles? Can you take a Taxi and if so how much did it cost?

I don't have my map handy, but would estimate 1 1/2 to 2 hours !!

Would not consider doing this independently if you are on a ship and have a day in port...unless you did a ship excursion...and let them make sure you get back in time !!!

L'Isle Sur La Sorge is great...as are lots of other towns in the area ...if you're on a driving holiday.

Definitely go to Cassis and do the boat trip - the 1.5 hour one is perfect. It tends to get a little choppy in the afternoon so if you can do morning on the boat it would be better! Lots of fantastic restaurants all round the harbour and a good market on Fridays in Cassis. You wouldn't get much more out of Isle sur la Sorgue and it's a long way!
