Black Watch Junior Suites

Mounty

Recommended Posts

I have booked a Junior Suite for the three night Amsterdam cruise departing 18 December as my husband's Christmas present. We are booked into Cabin Number 7014. Can anyone give me any information reagrding these cabins e.g. size, facilities and whether any extras are provided? The only other time we have sailed with Fred Olsen we have a Balcony Suite as a free upgrade which was very nice and as a result we also had complimentary sparkling wine and a pot plant upon arrival, and canapes every every evening. This was very nice but dont expect we will have the same luck again!

It is a year or two since I had a junior suite on the Black Watch but on those occasions I found it very comfortable (I was on a few cruises all of 14 nights or more). Unless things have changed you do not get the "extras" eg free bottles of spirits, canapes etc that you do on the higher graded suites. Have a look on the Fred. Olsen website and you can see the cabins and get some idea of what to expect.
