deposit refund I cant go

I was just let go from my job and needless to say I can't afford my trip I put a deposit on. My question is will they refund my deposit? I didn't purchase trip insurance.what should I do? Any advise would be great. Thank you

I'm fairly certain that you cruise is far enough in advance to get a full refund but step 1, in any case, is contacting Carnival or your TA. I think you'll be good, though. Sorry about your loss.

You should be able to get your deposit back. Some travel agents do charge a cancellation fee though.

You can get a full refund up to 75 days out from your cruise, minus any TA cancellation fees (if you used a TA, and if your TA even charges a cancel fee). I'm sorry you lost your job. I don't know what field you're in, and I know the job market is rough, but I recommend waiting until that 75 day mark before cancelling. Maybe you'll have found a different (and hopefully better) job by then.

I just wanted to add that it always been my experience that when God closes a door, he always opens a window. Use this loss to further yourself elsewhere!
