tnspedteacher Posted September 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Just looked through the info on tipping: the booklet gives suggestions on amounts. For example, it says $12 for the waiter (that was the largest amount). We are on the Wonder (3 nights). Is that amount per person, per night? If so, that means w/ 2 people we will tip our waiter $72 for the whole trip. Is that right? I'd be mortified if I skimped on a tip!!

You're always welcome to tip more if you feel the service deserves it. Don't forget you'll also have an assitant server, a head server, and the stateroom host or hostess. :) Can I squeeze into your suitcase? ;)

Bill Oops, sorry, not sure how I managed to misread that one! It would be $12 per person for the three night cruise, so $24 in total for two people/three nights. I need to stop trying to read these boards and talk on the phone at the same time. It's obviously not working for me, LOL! In the tipping department, DCL isn't more or less expensive than other lines, they are all right about the same.
