Atlantis resort day pass?

We were there this past week, you could have shot a canon through the place it was dead both inside and out including the casino.

Yep, Paradise Island is a ghost town these days.. but the OP didn't mention when they were arriving.. hopefully things will pick up a bit.

Hi! We are going to be in Nassau and have planned to go to Atlantis to the beach and waterpark. When you were there, were the waterslides open? We have kids with us and that's our excursion planned for the day. Just want to make sure the slides are open. Thanks for any info anyone can give us!

a few years back we were able to get a "day rate" for a room for 4 people and get 4 wristbands to all the attractions at Atlantis. We called the 1 800 # tonight and the guy said they do not do "day rates" on their rooms but a pass was $105 per person........whew that is steep!

We did call before a few years ago and they said the same thing but when we got to the port and called Atlantis local direct number they did say they have a day rate room available for $110.00 for 4 people which included 4 wrist bands per room. We got two rooms for 8 people.

So I am wondering if the 1 800 number is told to tell people that they do not have day rates??? HMMMM I guess the only way to find out is call the local number when we get to port on Nov 9th and find out!:D

As long as you don't mind missing if they don't have a day rate - that is a great way to go - - but I don't want to miss so I am taking the sure way and getting two rooms at the Comfort Suits. We have 5 adults and 3 kids. It is averaging out to $60.00 per person which isn't bad for a day at Atlantis.

Muffy - We are going in December so I am very curious to see what you find out on the Day Rate. With occupancy being so low, per these boards, I would think that a Day Rate would be an option. Please let us all know - either way.
