I just have to share a story. I work for a courier company doing claims for lost and damaged parcels. I just received a new claim for a carton of bingo markers that were lost in transit!!! I thought that was hillarious as I thought of Mr & Mrs Dobbie straight away. I wonder how many little outfits will be put onto the missing dobbies? LOL!!

 

Perhaps they were set free by rogue Dobbies!

 

Remember that two went missing after our last cruise!

 

Hmmm, me thinks that we will have to be very careful of the "Freedom Dobbies", they could also still be lurking on the Pacific Sun!

 

Tell the Dobbies that they must keep an eye on their formal clothes and when in the laundry they must stay with the clothing, or perhaps we may have to escort them everywhere, they could be Dobbienapped! :eek:

Maybe they are on their way to Princess cruises, rebelling cos they have taken their Captain Circle benefits away:p they are going to do more Princess cruises so they can have free internet and not have to wash their outfits:p.........wonder if the Americans will look after them like we do:confused::)

Were the missing dobbies going to P&O, maybe Kylie has stolen them in protest to all are questions and comments.

 

Or the missing dobbies have run away to join those already on cruises. a much better life than a smelly bingo hall full of old woman. (no offense intented LOL ).

I just wrote a big post about the dobbies but CC seems to have eaten it :mad: I won't type it all again in case it turns up!

 

 

Bascially i've gone completley overboard with the dobbie outfits and have one for each theme I can think of :p Thought i'd share a pic of them in their country & western night outfits. All I need is some little cowboy hats and their all set!

 

Excuse the quality of the pic, I took it with my phone and it's a bit grainy :o

Hello from me!

 

Mr and Mrs Dobbie had a blast on W832. They were sad it was over. They didn't bring me one iota of luck although I did get extremely close with one game, was only 1 number off of winning just over $600. The did however bring me luck with the pokies, not sure how that happened :confused: but I won the minor jackpot on the Outback Jack machine, a whopping $95 dollars!!! They also assisted DH in getting 2nd place in the poker tournament with $135 win and pulling $160 out of various pokies plus helped me win 2nd prize in the cake decorating competition (have photos, will post later!) and helped me win a piece of artwork in the art auction cos I was an early bird and because I answered 6 trivia questions correctly!!!!

 

That was all they were lucky for lol!!!! Have lots of piccies of them making friends with their cabin companions, Elly and Ralph (the towel animals!)

 

All in all a very good trip. They are currently located at the Purser's desk on Plaza deck awaiting BigBear28 to get onboard next cruise. The Purser thought I was off my rocker when I asked him to hold onto the bag until the next cruiser got on board, he thought it was a massive joke. Mr and Mrs Dobbie have replacement hair in the bag and have decided they could possibly do with new outfits. Mr Dobbie had trouble keeping his pants on ;)

Thought this would help bringing the Dobbies Plans forward.

 

Kelly have you got an updated list at all?

 

I think I am leaving them onboard the Pacific Dawn for LOVE cruising as she is getting on when I get off from what I can see there is plenty of time to do a cruise or 2 before ADF has them on the Rhaspody in April?

 

Would be happy to help with keeping up with the Dobbies they are becoming quite the island Hoppers etc. I have nothing planned for Christmas so have time to spare.

Ok....so if i had set one I was originally going to post to MS Minx....BUT now I am getting set two! who is TSLADY getting them from? Obviously mine won't get to her in time.

Hi Gratz,

 

Don't really know that's why I bought it forward to ask Kelly if she has an updated list as I can't find a listing other than that one!!

 

 

Kelly did say that they have their own Diary etc.

 

They are such the gad abouts :rolleyes: it's hard to keep up with them.

 

I think we were trying to keep one set for the Pac Sun and one for the Pac Dawn but then there are the Dawn Princess thrown in there for as well!! I think they are going to be well traveled Dobbies. ADF is taking them on a sightseeing tour of the ROS as well.

Wow, now I am confused.:confused: I am thinking it might be easier if I got a set of dobbies for the Dawn Princess, but I will need to know where to buy them. I could also use some suggestions on where to purchase those wonderful wigs they wear, so as not to let the Dobbie team down. I would imagine it would be easier to have a set on each ship, just to be left at the pursers desk for the next cruise. Just let me know what would be best and I will do it that way.

Sorry guys, been busy last few days .... the Dobbies do have a diary which they have asked me to keep up to date for them. I try and let people know who is up next because every now and then something changes. 2 sets of dobbies at the moment seems enough as they are enjoying changing ships and dont have too many cruises planned on dawn princesses at moment, mainly PS & PD. Loving all the photos that everyone has done so far and the clothes and fantasic..
