OkieCruisers Posted October 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I know this has probably been asked before but it must be so far back on the pages, I just couldn't find it. We have a cruise booked out of Philly for November 1st, just a few weeks away from now and we need to book our air soon. We have only taken 1 cruise from there in the past and that time we flew in the afternoon before, had a nice dinner and took a cab to meet the ship the next day. This time we are weighing out flying in the morning of the cruise. Are we pushing it the way things are going with flying these days or should we fly in the day before again? If so, can anyone tell us a good deal on a hotel that has free shuttle service from the airport and or to the cruise ship terminal? Can't wait to hear what you all recommend. Thanks! megr1125 Posted October 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I would fly in the day before....MOST hotels by the airport will (obvisouly) have a shuttle from the a/p to the hotel...(all but the extended stay america and maybe the mircotel) i don;t think any have shuttles to the pier, but cab should be, eh, 25 bucks give or take. the Courtyard by Marriott airport is good.....and there is a Ruby Tuesday across the parking lot...... wardbigpapa Posted October 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2008 You can go to www.cruisephilly.com and they give you a list of hotels near the airport. Most have shuttles from the airport but none have any to the cruise terminal which is only 10-15 min. cab ride. Good luck and have a great cruise:)
