read here that muster on one ship was in a lounge area-is this common or is it the rccl lineup in the broiling sun in REALLY straight lines? i would be so relieved-i am not able to stand long and and feel claustrophobic in the lifejacket and i'm always standing in between really tall people.(at least they help block the sun!)

Princess muster drills are all held inside the ship in different lounges. No worrys about standing out in the sun for any period of time. Arrive early for muster if you must have a seat as there is usually standing room only if you wait even a few minutes after it is announced. And this also is for the Sea Princess as well as other ships in the fleet.

Enjoy!

searoses,

Not to worry it is Princess policy fleetwide to muster in lounges and theaters.

The muster drill prior to sailing on Princess ships is held in lounges, the theater, the casino and similar public rooms. At the end of the drill, the seated passengers stand and practice putting on their life jackets. There is no standing in the sun on the open decks.
