Hi,

Someone from work came back from a crusie a couple of months ago and just loved it. Since I am single I travel alone and always have a great time. I just turned 31 and while I don't party hop, if there is one going on, I will join in. I want to go on a 7-10 day cruise sometime possible either April-May or the late summer June-July 2005, but don't know which one or who to use. The last time I was on a cruise was about 14-15 years ago and that was a family trip. I am looking for a cruise that goes to a warm sunny destination that is very relaxing, and a onboard casino would be nice as well. I know that going as a single will double the price, but that's ok.

Can anyone suggest a cruise or cruises that fits the bill.

One last thing, when is the total amount usually due by. I know that you usually put down $200 or so for a deposit.

Thanks,

Jason

I have been cruising single for the last few years. I would recommend the Eastern Caribbean. I used Carnival. By booking the lowest catagory 1A you get a reasonable size interior cabin for one person paying 150% not 200% of the double occupancy price, with a chance for an upgrade.

Most if not all the ships will have a casino. I don't play the slots but they have a reputation for being tight.

Jason, generally speaking, final payment for a cruise is due anywhere from 70 to 75 days before your day of departure.

Most cruise ships have casinos, with the smaller ships having what they call a casino, but with only 6 slot machines and maybe two or three tables, I just call them a diversion. The only time you won't find a casino is when the ships cruise in Hawaii. The NCL Pride of Aloha doesn't have a casino. Also, Disney ships don't have casinos, but I don't think that's a cruise line for singles.
