nj1970 Posted October 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Ok, if I remember my cruise to Playa the ships come on certain days right? I think Tuesday and Thursday? My sisters and I are going for nine days and I want to make sure we have good beach days (w/o the ships mucking up the water) and stay away from the ship excursion spots on those days. When my husband and I went via Carnival I went on my own and booked Edventure tours. Ed and Bonnie were great!! We just want as sisters to avoid the crowds and have some fun! Thanks in advance! bigwally Posted October 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Thursdays for sure. At least two ships, IIRC, with one ship that is at Cozumel Wednesday and moves to Calica for the Thursday. Tuesdays....I don't know. I don't remember seeing any, but it's been a while and those same calendar sites are not available to me any more. Was originally checking to see if tour share buddies could be found for a Wednesday during our stay at the end of this month. Edit: To clarify, there are two ships in port on the Thursday and non on the Tuesday during the time both you and I are there. Apparently the calendar runs bi-weekly, and the during the other two weeks of each month there is one ship in on Tuesday and non there on Thursday. However, there are a slew of ships visiting Cozumel throughout the week. The calendar looks like this for both our stays: Friday: Ours, 3. Yours, 4 Saturday: Ours, 3. Yours, 4 Sunday: No ships Monday: Ours, 2. Yours, 3 Tuesday: Ours, 3. Yours, 2 Wendesday: Ours, 4. Yours, 7  Thursday: 2 each stay Friday: Ours, 2. Yours, 4 Saturday: 2 each stay Sunday: No ships

Uncle Doug Posted February 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2009 You can also go on the Carnival site for your sailing date and it will show the date you will be in each port.
