Julie Koefoot Posted October 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Is It Just Me? The search forum tool is always temporarily down when I need it. Am I supposed to notify someone when this happens? Disappointing, when I am looking forward to finding something. Julie
mariemorgan Posted October 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2008 You can still search a certain forum. If you go to the forum page you want to search in and click Search this forum. You still can use that.. However Advanced search does not work. Also the main search across all forums doesn't work.. just individual forums. The 'search thread' features works fine so you might use that as an option...

big_duck Posted October 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Use Google, just enter site:boards.cruisecritic.com after your search criteria. Works great.
mariemorgan Posted October 13, 2008 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2008 If you search for a word or phrase that is too common it will not work.. it overloads the searching. but the google method mentioned works well in that case.
cherylandtk Posted October 13, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 13, 2008 The Search Forum tool works if you only use one or two words to search on, and as noted above, don't use common words.
