sailoruk Posted October 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Sure someone on these boards can answer:) Are there facilities on board "Journey" for our digi pictures to be transferred to a dvd/cd or similar? does the "photographer" have the necessary equipment? Raymond1043 Posted October 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Yes, each ship has a photo shop where you can copy your memory cards to a DVD/CD. My experience is they are expensive, $14.00 each. I take a couple of 2GB cards along, change them out as they fill up.
Ask4Jay Posted October 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2008 A small technical point: I don't think you can do it yourself; however, they will do it for you. To spread the risk of losing too many images, if one card should be corrupted, I carry a few smaller ones (256KB).

Apple produces a white adapter about the size of a thick Compact Flash card that connects to the iPod’s dock connector port and a USB cable plugged into your digital camera. This is a lot less bulky than carrying around a laptop. Ken
