messymarie Posted October 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Does anyone know what happens when you do not get your tickets or they are not at the dock. We booked a third person nine days before the cruise. We will be leaving for the cruise a week early. We do not have time to get the tickets mailed to us. Suppose we show up at the dock and they do not have our tickets. We did on-line check in and have everything to prove we paid.
DMorris Posted October 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2008 You can request pier pick up for the documents... just ask your TA.
peaches from georgia Posted October 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2008 In these days of computers you don't need tkts. The name will be in the computer and on the manifest. You wouldn't have been able to do online check-in if your name was not in the system. Take your copy of the check-in and proof of payment, but there will be no problem. Krazy Kruizers Posted October 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Just double check to make certain that all information on your immiagrations forms are complete. And make certain that they are printed out. There have been others here who didn't get their documents in time and all they needed at the pier was the printed out information sheet. Enjoy your cruise.

Forget the tickets - bring your Signature Preferred Boarding Pass and your passport, and you'll have no problems. They'll have bag tags at the pier. Bill S Posted October 14, 2008 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2008 That happened to us once: no docs at all when we departed for our HAL cruise. It was not problem as we had our booking number and passports (this was before the capablility to fill out your immigration forms on-line and print them out). The desk rep checked the computer to verify we were legit, and proceeded as normal. Also, when we dropped off our bags, the porters had a bunch of luggage tags to put on our luggage. So, it should not be a problem as long as the person has their immigration forms with booking number and a passport, and checks-in at least 90 minutes before departure. :)

Since your cruise is paid for and you've done on-line check in you should have a booking number. Take that and passport and you're all set, no need for ticket/cruise document.
