Inside Cabin - Summit

DH and I booked an inside guaranty on the Summit, and found out our cabin assignment today. Not sure about this (have a feeling we're going to have to go for an upgrade!)...but....the picture of the cabin on the location chart says its got 2 upper berths and a pullout couch. Is this really what it is? BUT, an inside stateroom is described as two beds that can convert to one. Which one is it, does anyone know? Definietly don't want separate upper berths!!

This usually means that the upper berths are in addition to the double bed. As far as I know, all Celebrity cabins have at least one double bed (or 2 single beds that can be pushed together).

What Ecowen said - those are in addition to the regular beds. A (very) few cabins have beds that can't be pushed together.

Yep, I concur. and remember to get out of bed gingerly...those upper berths entend about 4-5 inches from the wall...ouch!!

Not to worry, even smallest Summit cabin is 170 s/f, pullout is a love seat which converts to a bed if needed. Sounds like your cabin accomodates up to 5 persons...

we had a cabin on the Summit with one upper berth and it actually was in the ceiling so if you don't use it you don't even know it's there. We had upper berths on the Horizon and Zenith and they do fold up on the side walls creating a little less headroom but the design of the Summit is very nice.

List the number of the cabin... I'm sure we can help. I've never had an issue with an inside and would guess you'll have no problems with yours.

You can do what my kids did in an inside. They had one of the bunks let down and they used it to store things on.

Thanks so much for your responses!! I was picturing having to climb up into a bunk bed, and not being able to sleep with hubby... that would not have made for a very nice cruise ;-) !!

 

The cabin no. is 2047. Steerage, I believe.
