Ironing clothes?

As long as it is just a steamer and not one of those "combo iron/steamers"... I take along Downy Wrinkle Releaser everywhere I go... I pack my formals in vacuum bags and they never wrinkle... :D

Re: vacuum bags.......I've used space bags, I guess the same thing but you don't have to use a vacuum, for towels and underwear to save space, but formals? Did you have to pack them a certain way before sucking out the air to keep them from getting wrinkled?

We also bring along a steamer and the wrinkle relase spray for small touch ups. BUT... we also choose to not worry about cotton, linnen or other wrinkle prone fabrics. We send them out for pressing after our luggage is delivered and they are returned the following afternoon looking perfect. The cost is not THAT much and adds to our enjoyment. Not having to worry about packing carefully and spending time ironing and bagging clothing makes it really seem like a vacation. Most cruise lines do not have self service laundry rooms and i'm SURE I don't want to be spending my time aboard a beautiful ship in some little laundry room ironing for formal night. JMHO :)
